Gravel Pits > What can we do as a community? 

By working together, we can conduct a thorough review of any gravel pit applications submitted to the Township of Woolwich and the Ministry of Natural Resources, including the detailed engineering and planning reports submitted with each application.  We can then document our technical and planning concerns and present them to the appropriate agencies. 

This type of review requires an intense effort from a number of community members.  The application analysis also requires that we hire top experts in various fields to ensure that we have a sound, technical basis for our comments and recommendations.

This is a long, resource-intensive process, and requires the commitment of the entire community if we are to succeed.
